Exactly! derek and I have been talking about me doing a musical adaptation of the book. I thought of Feldman immediately. I'm considering, though, also, derek's use of color, the use of the whole page as a unit of time/pitch/space/timre, and perhaps exploring a notion of deriving my musical material from a source piece in a manner analogous to what derek has done from the original Auster novel.
