Thanks, Rosaire! You know, I really like this, and--if I may--I think I would like it even more without the frame lines. You don't need them, the black shapes themselves function as panels, and the page looks better without them.
I agree it would be visually stronger without the frame lines - but those lines are what prevent the intruding white from indicating infinite space/ time : the areas of white surrounding the black need to be particular for each instance in this 'narrative'.

ReplyDeleteI honestly don't think so--I erased the red lines on a jpeg I downloaded, and, if anything, it looks even more clearly sequential.
