Well, that was the intention when I put the triptych together. As a matter of fact, here is what I wrote on FB when I posted this: "Inspired by: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Guanyin,_Monkeys,_and_Crane.jpgand by:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_scholar%27s_rocks "--however, they're just pages in a 6" x 8 1/2" sketchbook

The reason I brought up the Mu Qi triptych is that I had discussed it in class on Tuesday, and I drew these Tuesday night--so it was definitely on my mind.
