David (about whom more
here) has been making so many of what could be called "abstract cartoons" that, in trying to make a selection for a post here, I thought there was no way I could offer a single representative sampling. So David has graciously agreed to make this a weekly feature. We'll feature three cartoons a week, but we'll begin today with a double-sized post:

By the way, it's a good idea to friend David on FB. The original art for many of his cartoons is for sale there, priced the same as his age (which is currently 57).
okay - i look forward to more
ReplyDeleteMy old band opened for his in Cambridge many years ago. Great Stuff.
ReplyDeleteThat's funny! Where and when? I lived in Cambridge from 1984 to 1990.
ReplyDeleteIf only we had all met back then, we could have started this Abstract Comics thing way earlier...
It was at a place called the Club, which was Nightstage when you were there. It was 1979! I was in art school and had a weird art-punk band.
ReplyDeleteWeird, I don't remember Nightstage. Where was it?
ReplyDeleteBut then again, I was underage most of the time I lived in Cambridge...
